Change is a process not an event, it needs to be nurtured and encouraged continually.
David grew up in Salford, and has prayed for the city for years, envisioning churches and other faith-based organisations to come together for the good of the city.
Salford has been transformed in the last two decades, its economy has grown, and continues to grow, at a higher rate than the national average.
It now has the leading hospital nationally outside London.
And there has been a significant increase in GCSE pass rates in the city, with all the major High Schools rebuilt to give the young people of Salford aspirational environments to learn in.
It is a great story, and one that is not finished yet.
